Who is Melinda?

I am the wife to a wonderful man and the mother to a beautiful and amazing little girl. Although my schooling surrounded computer and electrical engineering and I am an engineer full-time, it brings me much joy to have the ability to create all these sweets for various people. I find that I can express my creativity at no end and that makes me very happy.

My passion for baking started with a smile. Specifically the smile of my daughter on her first birthday when she saw the beautiful cake I made for her. Then, an even bigger smile when she ate it and realized how great it tasted.

Then, I began looking for different options because I was not a fan of the messiness of the cake! Enter Cake Pops. As I shared my new found novelty, people began asking if I could create custom items for them. As I continued to experiment, more ideas started flowing. Each new idea led to another and another. Melinda’s Marvels was born. 

Edible art has become a way for me to express my creative side in a practical medium. I view the world with a whimsical perspective and the pieces I create are the embodiment. It brings me great joy to share my passion with others and to see the happiness something as simple as food can bring delight to people of all ages.

Melinda's Marvels is not your typical bakery. Founded by me in 2011, I focus on both flavor and detailed custom designs to fit anyone's desires. 

With over 40 cake flavors and various works of art, my treats are sure to put a smile on anyone's face without breaking the bank. I also offer free delivery for customers in Greenville County (SC) and special package shipping anywhere else in the U.S. for an additional cost, making sure your treats are handled with the utmost care.

I offer a vast selection of cake pops, cake bites, cakes, and cupcakes in addition to chocolate and vanilla dipped Oreos, fruits, and pretzels. I have created sweets for weddings, bridal and baby showers, birthday parties, and other special events.

I have spread this joy all over the country, having shipped to every state in the continental U.S.
